3M – IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING VENTURECLAD:

We have been advised by 3M that as of 15^th March 2019 they will cease to sell 3M VentureClad and 3M Venture Tape in Europe, Middle East & Africa, and they will also discontinue manufacturing these products in Europe.

They have offered an option to be able to continue purchasing these products, and that is to purchase the products direct from the United States. At the moment we do not think that this will be a viable option, as they have said that the buyer would be responsible for the cost of the freight, local duties and taxes. So, when you combine the added costs and the fact that there will be an extended lead time, (as the material has got to come from the United States) it does not look as if this range of products will be a viable option after 15^th March 2019, and stocks have been exhausted.

3M have said that they will accept purchase orders for the above products up until 15^th March or until their current stocks are exhausted (THEY WILL NOT BE RE-STOCKING AFTER THEIR CURRENT STOCK HAS BEEN SOLD.)

We have a reasonable stock of both of these ranges of products and will continue to supply these whilst stocks last, and in the meantime, we will be exploring the feasibility of importing the products from the United States and also potential alternative products.

If you have any specific requirements for these products then please contact us ASAP so that we can try to secure the stock for you.

We can imagine that this could potentially cause problems with existing contracts so we have passed the information on to you as soon as we have been informed.

We will of course keep you updated on any future progress with the situation
